RIM Partners With Ingram Micro to Expand BES in India

Canadian Telecommunication and Wireless device company, Research In Motion and Ingram Micro Inc. have just announced a partnership, and are working together to provide corporate customers and SMBs with mobility solutions. Research In Motion (RIM) is a global leader in wireless innovation and are popularly known for their BlackBerry smartphones. Ingram Micro Inc; on the other hand is the world's largest technology distributor and a leading technology sales, marketing and logistics company based in India. By this partnership, RIM and Ingram Micro will distribute the full portfolio of BlackBerry enterprise solutions in India, including smartphones, accessories, software and technical support services. The enterprise offerings include mobile solutions to boost productivity, increase sales performance and improve customer service. Further to offering BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) and associated BlackBerry Technical Support Services, Ingram will also offer BlackBerry Mobile Voice System (BlackBerry MVS), which integrates a user's corporate phone system with a BlackBerry smartphone to provide single number reachability and extension dialing, as well as corporate phone system features like hold, transfer and ad-hoc conferencing.
